Stayed only one night, so could not visit the area much. But drove to lovers beach state park, very nice beach, with a tram that takes you from parking to the beach. Not very crowded. Then had dinner at Pinchers, very good food and service.

Beautiful white sandy beach.
Beautiful white sandy beach. Cute restaurants and bars, live music playing. We ate tacos at a local place. Be careful not to make any traffic mistakes, there are lots of police waiting for you to make a mistake.

Great spot on beach.
Great spot on beach. Elevators slower than slow, dim lights in hallways made the place a little sketchy to enter, only allowed room service once in a 5 night stay had to reuse towels nice hotel but could use some management upgrades. Was like staying at comfort inn for 650.00 per night. Restaurants mostly food trucks not actually what we planned for. Have to drive over 15 miles in traffic for decent food. Would not recommend

I have been coming to Fort Myers Beach nearly every year for 20 years. I was quite shocked by the amount of devastation and damage done by Hurricane Ian. It will be quite a few years before all the damages have been repaired.
The Beach Trollee is running; a few restaurants are open now; Publix grocery is open again. The beach and Lovers Key (Carl E. Johnson) State Park are still wonderful places to visit. So that's great!

The people are so nice, and the public transportation is so easy! The beaches are beautiful. The drinks and food are very good. I miss being there.
Every appetizer at Yucatán is worth trying out, and happy hour is from 3-6pm! The gator bites were amazing!

Everything about Fort Myers Beach is great.
Everything about Fort Myers Beach is great. This is our second time there. Last time we visited just before the hurricane and we couldn’t believe how badly it was affected but they are trying hard to recover and they need all our help and support. It’s still beautiful and definitely worth to visit.

Close to beach, Cleanliness of whole Facility, Maintenance was right there to show us how to use the onsite grills. Staff was ALL super friendly. My wife and I LOVED staying there. We will return to stay. We loved being able to cook out with Publix only 1 1/2 miles south of the Hotel. waking up to the sunrise and enjoying our morning coffee on the balcony. My wife and I are sure that every dollar was spent for the most value. They have dishes, appliances , silverware. Even used their bicycles to go Shopping.
Hotel was beautiful, but a few issues. 1. Lobby smelled like sewer. I do not know why. 2. Front desk staff was not so helpful/pleasant when I raised issue that wrist band stopped working at 11am on check out, as we were still using the report and could not access the elevator. Bar tender did not know how to make a vodka martini. Staff needs more training.
Fort Meyers is still recovering from effects of hurricane 2 years ago. While hotel was beautiful, I do not think I would return.
EVERYTHING!!!If you are looking for a location LITERALLY on the beach that's clean, comfortable, has AMAZING staff(mr.kim),and everything you need to have a great vaca(grill, chairs, umbrellas, private beach, floats, paddle boards, bicycles, basically EVERYTHING)!!We met lots of people who had been staying here for years and by the time we left we understood why and we fully intend to be one of those people.THIS is that little gem that everyone's looking for.
The location was quiet in an otherwise busy area. It was situated on the back bay which was a great spot to sit & drink coffee in the morning. It was in easy walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, the pier & there was a 7 Eleven tucked away down the street & around the corner if you needed to buy snacks or anything you forgot to bring.
Everything was perfect. Lovely decor, self-checkin, messages from hotel staff, quiet, comfortable, good breakfast. Considering 10 months ago this hotel was severely damaged by hurricane Ian, you really can't believe it. Once you appreciate that, it's hard to fault anything, it really is a great place to stay. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Great location and best resort tiki bar we have had. There was a lot of construction going on in the area but we couldn't here it in our room. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. 2 really nice pool areas. Easy walk to restaurants and the beach.
We had a great time at the Carousel Inn it was right on the beach and dog friendly and relaxed and clean and we would return but it's been torn down for apartments -- so sad wish we could come back bye bye Carousel
On the beach, clean, lots of towels, code for room rather than cards to carry, if you needed to call they helped right away. Washer and dryer, ice machine,
